An avid golfer and bridge player, he continued to enjoy both during an active retirement life. He was a Mason and a member of Beargrass Christian Church, River Road Country Club and the Retired Teacher's Association. Mr. Garth was preceded in death by his wife, the former Lorana Young. ¹ Courtney Noe was reported deceased on the 2001 reunion list. That was an error. His obituary was in the paper on 3/12/2002. Cecil Thompson was also incorrectly listed as deceased. He is alive and well. We sincerely regret both of these errors.
