Oak Hill Condominium Nashus, NH

Oak Hill New Hampshire

A web site for  Oak Hill Condominium  Nashua, NH

By and for residents and owners.

This is a website for those who call Oak Hill Condominium in Nashua, NH home. Here you can learn about the Oak Hill complex,  trees, wildlife, services, neighbors and make suggestions for improvement.  Any person can contribute to this site.  Send your comments and pictures to the webmaster

Oak Hill is located on Spit Brook Road in south Nashua, NH.  It contains both condominiums and rental apartments. Located near Route 3 close to the Massachusetts border,  it is possible to commute into Boston or any of the communities north of Boston.  You can take the commuter train to Boston from Lowell, MA a short drive down Route 3. There are plans to extend the rail line into Nashua and perhaps as far as Manchester, NH.   There is also a commuter bus that leaves Nashua every hour or so and goes to South Station and on to Logan Airport.

Oak Hill is safe, quiet, and affordable place to live. My goal in writing this web site is to preserve Oak Hill as a moderately priced housing alternative.   It is not suitable for everybody. For some it will be a temporary home on the way to something bigger. For others a last chance for independent living. Some owners see it as an investment. For all of us who live here it is  our home.

The web master is the sole owner of the web site and is totally responsible for the content. Members of the Oak Hill Board of Directors, employees of Stewart Property Management, all residents, and owners are invited to read and contribute to the site. This site was founded in January of 2009 .

I have owned a unit in building 3 of Oak Hill since 1988.  I have lived in my unit  except for five years from 2002 until 2007 when I rented my unit and traveled extensively. I originally bought the unit because I was tired of taking care of a house and because my job required me to travel a great deal. There were years when I was home only on weekends.  By the time I retired my daughter and  and her family had moved to the area.  When it came time to follow my dream of traveling the world, I decided to rent and I was helped in this endeavor by the Rental Manager who did an excellent job of  keeping the unit rented for 5 years.

During the rental period: replacement windows, new carpet, new appliances were installed , and the deck railing upgraded.  On my return, I replaced the kitchen cabinets.   My unit is on the second floor and I have a carport.

I enjoy walking around the campus almost every day and with other residents pick up trash .  We are proud that Oak Hill is very clean. I enjoy the swimming pool in summer and use the treadmill in winter. I walk in the woods in Roby Park  . My granddaughter and I often walk to the children's playground in Roby Park and she loves the winter ice rink.

I am working to keep Oak Hill a safe, quiet, affordable place to live.
