The Visitor's View of the Gannets

This picture gives you an idea of how close you can get to the birds.Only the sign instructed the visitor to stay behind the fence. At the time of our visit there wasn't even a park ranger around. Visitors who stood at the fence seemed to make little difference to the birds The Gannets prefer to nest on the 250 foot cliffs, but all the cliff sites are taken so these birds are nesting on the plateau.
