Table of Contents

This web site is a book about pelagic seabirds in the New England area. It resides in the great library called the Internet. Like a book it has a table of contents or a list of chapters. The dark blue column on the left side of each page is the Table of Contents. Each heading is a chapter. The first chapter is called News and the second chapter is named Seabirds.

Roll your cursor over a chapter title. A box opens to tell you what to expect in the chapter. Try placing your mouse pointer over some of the chapters in the dark blue column.

No matter where you go in this site, you will always have the dark blue column with the table of contents to help you navigate to a new chapter.

You can always navigate back to the tutorial with the Help on the blue bar at the top of this page.

Use Links To Turn The Page  Top

Each chapter title is a link or hotspot. If you place your cursor (pointer) on a link and click the left mouse button, the page for that chapter opens on the screen.

When you place your mouse pointer over a link, the shape of the pointer changes usually from an arrow to a pointing finger. (How it changes depends upon the settings in your computer operating system.)

Try opening a new chapter by clicking on any link in the dark blue column. Return to the tutorial by selecting the link Help .
